Mac Only is a remarkable amount of applications that have sprung up around iTunes. Since plugins, standalone applications, scripts, add-ons and some others. The "drivers" are a subfamily of applications that can control our iTunes music without accessing the application. The iTunes interface is gone recharging of lots of things and not always quick change discs or find another.
I have personally tested itunes missing artwork finder and used daily many of which I have included in the list but in the end I always returned to the "King". Without having to use another application, Quicksilver offers me everything I need to get my music although I recognize that some of these applications are a visual joy and a temptation for anyone. Which for me is still the King is a great alternative to control the music from your iTunes. You only need to install the appropriate plugin which enables you to browse and view your music library and play any disc, author or playlist. You can search from Quicksilver iTunes and if you do you can often assign a trigger for comfort.
The simplicity to power! Tremendously simple and elemental and consumes few resources. Place some basic drivers on the menu bar and displays a floating window (via Growl) with information from the new song and the album cover. You can choose the look of the drivers and assign keyboard shortcuts for playback controls. |
